A s the legends go, Vishwakarma created three things out of the remnants of the shavings of the Sun, the Trishul , the Sudarshan Chakra and the Pushpaka Vimana . Sudarshan Chakra , circular in shape, a continuously rotating disk made up of some rare element, floating in the thin air upon the index finger, with edges so sharp it can pass through anything. Some say it has 108 teeth and some say the count is in millions. Through the ages we see Gods and idols holding this weapon, conveying that when dharma is in peril they would not hesitate and unleash its power to crush the evil tyranny. Sudarshan in English means good vision while chakra could signify the raw energy that it possesses or the circular nature of birth and rebirth. As per the ancient texts, the mighty Vishnu held it, his avatars have wielded it to preserve the good. Glistening and representing the Sun’s nuclear fusion chambers this fearsome object sliced heads like a hot knife that went through the butter. Release,
