TIME

Time, no matter how good or bad, it will pass,
in sorrow too slow, in enjoyment too fast,

Time, the very essence of nature defines it,
a matchstick lit will eventually burn and give your fingers a hit,

Time, gives the human-kind a deadline,
so much so, that a sacrosanct race is implied,

Time, for some people it is money,
but for an extra moment with loved ones, one may give his last penny,

Time, teaches us to respect the gift of life,
for it is not the quantity of years but the quality that thrives,

Time, even if the hands of clock halt,
this moment will not be paused,

Oh Time, take your time,
for my mind is full of thoughts but i cannot find any words to rhyme.
